My kitchen desk

My kitchen desk is a problem for me, it constantly attracts papers from everywhere.

Annoyances Around the Home

I mowed the lawn yesterday, trying in part to get out of the house. I am almost done getting the home all picked up as my mom is visiting us this weekend. Nothing like a visit from mom to make a daughter get everything at least descent.

The worst part of working in the yard is all the wasps and icky bugs flying and crawling around.

I need some tips on how to keep the wasps away anyone have any ideas. I am going to search online as well to see what I find.

Today's Progress

I had a hard time falling asleep last night, and was a bit tired this morning. I took forever to drag myself out of bed. I finally got up and worked on my kitchen for a bit, since my dishes are needing some care. It is truly amazing considering we had dinner at church family night last night.

We had a few books due at the library, so we took a drive and got home 1 1/2 hrs later. it is now 12:30 pm and I am working on lunch. I truly do not know where the time went.

I am going to put my 2 year old to nap soon and work on math with my 5 year old. Afterward, I will continue to work on my kitchen, and the guest bathroom. Pick up a bit and that is all I will have time to do before the guest arrives tomorrow. I will add pictures of how the home looks at the end of the day.

Visitor coming this Friday

I have a visitor visiting this Friday. She is a nice lady from church who has offered to help me watch the kids while I go to a doctors appointment. She is visiting to get acquainted with the kids.

She will return the following Monday to watch the kids. I am working hard to make our home at least presentable.

Sick Kids

My 2 year old has had a cold since last Saturday. He is on antibiotics now for an ear infection in his left ear. My 5 year old also has an ear infection in the same ear. This has slowed me down as far as my homemaking. The little guy has been needing more hugs and kisses and I have taken the time to give them. As soon as he feel better I will continue to keep up with my kitchen.

Hello Sunday 29

My lil boy is sick, so I will try to get as much work done in the kitchen. I also have laundry to do as well, at least 4 to 5 loads. These two are my main areas I am concentrating on, till I can stay up to date on them.

I use my kitchen every day for all our meals, we don't eat out at all. I am almost throwing my hands up in the air and say this is just the way our kitchen is going to be.

Hello Saturday Evening 28 Kitchen

I have spent all day with a sick baby, and a busy 5 year old. I was working away in the kitchen as much as I could. Here are pics of kitchen at around 6pm in the evening.

I also worked on laundry today, wash one load and folded/put away some of the rest of the clothes.

I sometimes wonder if others have such a hard time keeping up with my home making.

I am going to continue working in the kitchen till my DH gets home at 8pm. At the same time I am going to cook dinner. Which is meatloaf and rice, the meat loaf is from Angel Food Ministries.

Dear Saturday 28 Kitchen

I need to make a change in the way I do things here at home. I am running out of day and still not catching up with my home making.

It's now 12:48 pm and I am working in the kitchen. My kitchen is a mess and it is ruling me and I have to find a way to rule over it.
